musical tastes

lately, i have been surprising myself with the types of music i have been getting into-

when i was a child, it was just- whatever was on. i was partial to motley crue and tears for fears (it was the 80's after all)

in the 90's, i moved to montana, and there was nothing out there but country- so that is what i liked. joe diffy, alan jackson, reba macentire, etc. there was a college station that played rock and stuff, but they also played rap... so that was out for the most part...
in 1996, i moved back home to michigan, and i ran head long into the grunge revolution- and all of the kick ass music from the 90's... nirvana, alice in chains, hootie and the blowfish, etc...
i also had my moments in montana, where i tried to get away from country- the first CD i ever owned was given to me by a friend out there. it was the crow soundtrack, and i loved it. i listened to it non stop- pantera, nine inch nails, jesus and mary chain...

in my early 20's, i was a big fan of the most hardcore metal ever written... slipknot, mudvayne, korn, etc. and i loved it. it was harsh, abrasive, and it meant something to the people that wrote it...

more recently, however- every rock band sounds like every other rock band. every alternative band sounds like every other alternative band... i was tired of it...

so i moved on.

on to what you ask? classical.

beethoven, bach, stuff like that.
violins and piano's are more my taste now... there is one station that broadcasts that music here in michigan, and it is out of canada... my radio is tuned to that station all the time.

i have also recently gotten into the 'maltshop' songs from the 50's... the platters, the everly brothers, bobby darin...

in the past 6 months, i have made many many cd's, ranging from

classical- 46 songs

90's- 57 songs

maltshop memories- 63 songs...

and i have never liked my musical tastes better...

hello and greetings from the middle of nowhere....

here is my ZOMBIE SQUAD id. it means i am an official member of zombie squad. the world's first, and only, mobile cadaver suppression task force...
they use zombies as a metaphor for being prepared for anything. tornado's, hurricanes, nuclear disasters- whatever. their theory is- "if you can be prepared to deal with an outbreak of the undead, you are prepared for anything."

it is also a charity, they do work for the red cross, and a lot of other organizations...

i don't know, i just thought this was cool.

i hope everyone is doing well, i am gonna go kick around your pages...

IMDB part 2

in response, that jack hole wrote
"dude, i think you need to take it down a few dozen notches..."

my response?
"you are an annoying bitch. i want to stab you to death and play around with your blood."

-block user-

ugh. imdb is getting bad.. too many children on there who think they are smart or believe they have some kind of life experience...
