yes, i have been gone for awhile, yet again...

but there have been a lot of puter problems lately.

tried to install new anti-virus software, and the 'puter freaked out... seriously...

but i am feeling a lot better, and i think i am back now...

again...

something interesting happened today at work-
we got an order from corperate to throw away all of these vhs movies... along with a list 47 pages long... all different genres, but i was only interested in one of them-
HORROR.
so i went through the horror section, a - h, and i picked out all of the things on the list, transferred them to 'damaged' like the memo said, and put them all into a box... well, two boxes... then i called my brother, and asked him to come pick them up...

so, today i got 179 free horror movies...

i repeat- 179 free horror movies.
and i still have 18 letters left in the alphabet, so once the 'discard' lists come in for the rest of them, i will get a whole fuck of a lot more...

query- say for example, i get a girlfriend... and she comes over to my place... and she sees nearly 1000 horror movies on shelves all around my room, in alphabetical order... do you think she will get creeped out?
maybe think i am a little strange?

let me know your thoughts...

Wow, that's pretty fortuitous. Still, it might not hurt to not display all 1,000 in a single place on the first date, unless you've already mentioned it to her beforehand.

I stop by your blog every now and then, and I would call you, but I wasn't on the list. MOST girls would run screaming. But I will tell you a story that I was saving because it is in my never posted Comic Con post, I moved to LA in 1985 because this guy I was "in love with" (I am not sure that I really know what that means, but that was the feeling I had at the time) wooed me out here by sending me a postcard a day from a Fangoria promo pack. So it was like this romantic shit written on the back of postcards with gory scenes from movies like Texas Chainsaw Massaacre and Videodrome, etc. Wow, VHS is out at the big chains? Now you have to have tivo or a computer or some shit to record a movie I guess. I don't mind DVD's, but I feel the way I did when it went from records to CD's, and now iPods, which is, "Shit I have to replace everything all over again??" BTW, I am looking for a decent copy of a movie called DANCE CRAZE if you come across it. It's from like 1982, it's British Ska bands. Anyhow, if you want a girlfriend, find the one who likes the movies too, or at least can live with them. If you just want to get laid, hide the movies.
