i feel a familiar desire... no, desire is not a strong enough description...

A NEED
i am going to write a new volume of 'happy to be home'

i am, of course, assuming that most of you are mildly familiar with my happy to be home series-

i think i will be creating a new instalment soon-

i should release it on christmas day- that, i think, would be completely poetic-

we shall see...

if you are not familiar with my happy to be home series, then please go check it out-

my old blog

look in the 'previous posts' section- they are all labled 'happy to be home' volumes 1 through ?

a quick overview- they are short very stories based around a sadistic serial killer from the first person point of view.

check 'em out.

i know sooner will love a new addition...

yet another holiday season is here-

to be completely honest, the prospect of spending yet another christmas alone is devistating- but you know, it is not so much christmas- it is new years... i have had only ONE new years with a relationship... and in my 26 years, only 1 new years kiss... that is a whole lot of new years spent alone- i have been having dreams which tell me i am ready for someone else, but i am also agoraphobic, so i find it hard to leave my house if i do not have to-

paradox

i want someone, but can not leave my house to find them-

the holiday is always hard...

but that is something i am just going to have to deal with, i guess...

the trials and tribulations of being 'the one'

for the sake of this post, i am going to assume that all of you have seen 'the matrix' trilogy, or at least the first one or two-

after buying a playstation 2 last week, (i wait for the new generation to come out so the price of the old ones drop substantially)

i rented 'matrix: the path of neo'
which is a game that spans all 3 of the 'matrix' movies. and let me tell you, i never knew unlimited power was such a hassle!

playing as neo, and fighting with morphius, countless times, the soundbite was used which was morphius saying "neo! i need your help!"
or "neo! i can't take much more! help me!"
or "neo! keep (agent) smith away from me!"

all of this time, neo is fighting anywhere between 6 and 12 agents all armed with guns, and capable of dodging bullets- so you have to fight them hand to hand.
abandoning this fight, i see morphius with 2 agents surrounding him. only fucking 2!!
after a while, i began talking to the game, and when morphius would say, "neo! help me!" i would say back,
"fuck you man! i am up against 6 times more agents than you, why don't YOU come help ME?!"

i just thought it was a pretty amusing story, if you like videogames or not.

what are your guilty pleasuers?

what is it that you do not really tell anyone that you like?

mine are the television show 'friends' and classical music.

when i am not listening to ear blistering heavy metal, i am listening to classical music. beethoven, bach, the whole deal...

what are yours?
